Welcome to my first blog posting! My name is Julia and I'm just your average supermom, living in the Great State of Texas. I have a wonderful husband and a very energetic seven year old son whom I adore. I just felt the need to have an outlet to discuss my thoughts of current events and maybe discuss them with other individuals. I hope you enjoy my blog and I invite you to visit often.
Todays Topic: The Hysterical Left
I love to visit the "nutroots" blogs to have a good laugh! I never post (what is the point!) but they are a riot to read. Especially after they have received defeat of some sort. Oh the gnashing of teeth, wringing of hands, stomping of feet! The sounds of heads beating against the virtual wall, bemoaning "what did we do wrong", "what should we do next", and "why is everyone except us a bunch of morons". And yet, after all the "discussion" (the hateful vulgarity laced rants that they spew) that goes on there, they never learn their lesson! They keep suffering defeat after defeat! And they just keep getting nuttier and nuttier!
I may be wrong but I don't ever remember the right being this crazy over Clinton. Oh I know al ot of us thought he was not a decent person,,,,,but evil? Dishonorable....yes! Dishonest...yes! The spawn of satan....uh.....no. A facist dictator...uh..no. Evil incarnate.....uh.....no! The ANTI-CHRIST...UH.....NOOOO! Yet, I've bet I've heard every one of these statements at least ten or more times before visiting the "nutroots" sites.
So, what is it that feeds the craziness of the "nutroots"? Is it the the 2000 election? Is it the fact that they "ALWAYS" underestimate Bush and always seem to end up losing to him? What is with them? What drives a person to wish the worst things to happen to your country just so Bush will "get his just rewards"????
More on this tomorrow. Not bad for a first post but I have to go tickle a seven year old angel. Once again, welcome!
